At Steven Scarr Hairdressing, specialist knowledge sits at the heart of your experience. Our team includes dedicated experts across different areas of hairdressing, from precision cutting and colour to extensions, wigs, toppers and hair loss solutions, so you are always supported by someone who understands your needs.
Salon owner Steven has trained with the renowned Trevor Sorbie My New Hair programme, a recognised charity supporting people experiencing medical hair loss. This training allows him to guide you through choosing a wig or topper and then tailor the cut and styling so it feels natural, comfortable and completely personal to you.
While Steven supports clients experiencing medical hair loss, Andrew specialises in transitional grey blending. He helps you move towards your natural colour softly and discreetly, using carefully placed tones to minimise harsh regrowth lines and create a gradual, natural finish that remains easy to maintain as it grows out.
The salon is also home to extension specialists Sienna and Jess, who focus on adding natural looking volume, length and subtle colour enhancement. They carefully plan both shade selection and placement, positioning extensions exactly where they complement the haircut and colour so everything blends seamlessly and looks completely natural. Their approach keeps the hair lightweight, comfortable and easy to care for at home.
Advanced Colour Masters
Colour is a real area of expertise within the salon, and we’re proud to be home to two Colour Masters. This advanced qualification is designed for experienced colourists and focuses on in-depth colour theory, consultation, correction work and creative application, recognising them as true colour specialists.
Sienna has also been selected for the ALFAPARF Milano Professional Architects of Design 2026 team. Over the next year, she will work closely with leading educators and brand ambassadors, take part in inspiration trips to Rome and Milan, and finish with an exclusive two day shoot at the ALFAPARF Milano Academy in London. It means our colour work is always evolving, bringing fresh ideas and the highest professional standards straight back into the salon.

Do I need a skin test before colouring appointments?
«Yes, a ColourStart passport home testing kit is required for all colouring appointments – it applies to all clients and must be in place 5 days prior to your colour service. Colourstart Passport helps you decide if it is safe to carry out a Colourstart allergy test by asking a few simple screening questions.
