Steven
Founder | Wig, Topper & Hair Loss Specialist
With over 30 years of experience in the hair industry, Steven Scarr now brings his extensive knowledge of cutting, colouring and hair loss to his specialist work in wigs, toppers and bespoke hair systems.
Having trained with some of the industry’s leading names and achieved Master Colourist status, Steven spent more than three decades building his reputation as a salon owner and hair professional. Today, that experience allows him to offer something very different within the world of alternative hair.
After experiencing the impact of hair loss within his own family, Steven became passionate about finding better, more personalised solutions for people experiencing thinning and hair loss.
Over the past year, Steven has dedicated significant time to researching human hair and synthetic wigs, toppers and hair systems, including travelling directly to China to visit manufacturers and understand first-hand how the hair is sourced, processed and constructed.
His expertise means a wig or topper doesn’t simply have to be worn straight from the box. Steven can cut, colour, shape and personalise human hair systems to complement the individual, while also advising on synthetic options, bespoke systems and the most suitable solution for each client.
From the initial private consultation and sourcing through to fitting, personalisation and ongoing maintenance, Steven provides a complete and discreet service.
For Steven, it isn’t simply about replacing hair. It’s about helping someone feel like themselves again.
Ange
Strategic Growth & Business Development
Ange works alongside Steven to shape the strategic direction and continued growth of the business.
With a career rooted in hairdressing and barbering, Ange went on to build extensive experience across education, senior management, business development and national commercial growth within the hair and beauty sector.
Today, she brings that experience to Steven Scarr, leading on business strategy, growth, partnerships, team development and new commercial opportunities. Working closely with Steven, she has also been instrumental in developing the salon’s specialist wig, topper and alternative hair offering — from sourcing and quality assurance through to building relationships directly with manufacturers.
Steven brings the technical hair expertise. Ange brings the commercial and strategic direction — together, they shape where the business goes next.
